That came out of the cistern?? looks like the same crazy tree that engulfed the 100 lb propane bottle.

I had to get a big strong man to wrestle the propane bottle away from the crazy tree.
I think they are related.

We felt blessed when we opened the cistern and found it full of water that was surprisingly clean. There was one small section of guttering that was funneling just enough water in to keep it circulating and fresh. In the early weeks before there was any electricity at Auriga, we used buckets to dip water from the cistern for cleaning and flushing. Every time we filled a bucket we were grateful for the abundant clean water.
