Today I had a Jamaican gardener over and we planted some pineapples, passion fruit vines and fruit trees that I’ve had growing in pots.

Planting close to the full moon is supposed to yield a lot more fruit!

We have been working really hard to get the bedroom habitable. It’s almost there.

We swapped out 2 toilets in the last week. One was missing the tank lid. Both were the old type that use more than 2 gallons of water got each flush. Both were leaking and flushing involved tinkering with the flapper or the float.

Now we have installed the more efficient 1.6 gallon version. I had a couple that I bought at a bargain price from Long Bay Resort when they remodeled. We knew we would end up either building on an empty lot or renovating. They came in handy. They look nice and flush well. Just a little more plumbing left to do.

I soon need to shift gears a little and focus on my businesses a little more. I’ve been full throttle on the house but it was necessary and the results are satisfying.
