Here is a picture of a small utility shed that (I think) housed the meter.  On the road edge above the west side of the house.

Yes, in the long run we need to build out the retaining wall to shore-up the hill-side before permanent correction of  the outside bedroom walls. I vaguely remember that the cistern wall in the study can sweat which adds to the humidity when the doors are closed.  Auriga was always the peaceful place in our lives – even when stormy!  I even miss the Coquis. Thank you for your research. -JTH

Wow! She looks so beautiful all opened up.

We looked in that box because it seemed the logical place but we did not see a meter. There is a lot of things in there though so I will pull them out and see what’s underneath.

The electrician didn’t seem very concerned about the wiring. Only one place that looks concerning upstairs in the main house. He said we should make sure all the breakers are off and get power restored to the meter (when we find it) – then he could come back and check everything to see if there are any issues.

I know one of the gentlemen who read the meters in Belmont. I will give him a call in the morning. He may know something about the meter.
