Came back this morning and dug a bunch of random things out of the little box but then realized it was likely an old generator box. I will haul these things to the bin except will keep the grounding wire. 

I called Albert the meter reader, who remembers your dad fondly. He currently has Covid but kindly instructed me where to find the meter further up the hill. It was grown over with vines and not very visible. 

We cleared out the vines. 

Electrician will return and do what is necessary to inspect.
