Have you has any luck finding the keys?
I would like to see it all and make a more comprehensive list. I would also like to schedule an electrician to come do a proper inspection if you would like to move forward so I can have an idea what it will take to get the electricity restored. I had someone come look at the roof today. There is one broken timber way up high. He said it would be fine to add a layer of wind and water seal. He agreed that it is the first thing that needs to be done. He said it would seal it up for about 8 months which would give us time to look at roofing options while we work on the test of the list. If you haven’t found the keys, would it be ok to cut the locks and replace them. I have bolt cutters and the locks are pretty thin so it wouldn’t be a problem. -LO
No luck so far with the keys. If I hear nothing by this afternoon I would cut the locks. Yes to electrical inspection. I remember some talk about limited rewiring. The fuse box is located underneath the steps to the loft, adjacent to the refrigerator. The cistern pump is located in the laundry/study room beneath the kitchen. -JH
