I think your offer (of a rehab’ lease) is a great Idea. Have you had a chance to peek around the property? The building was designed to be open/natural, so no glass windows. There was a plan to make the guest suite at the base of the main building (adjacent to the laundry/study) weather tight, but so far the best we have done is tape-up screen mesh over the open windows. When the family was last there in 2019, the buildings were buttoned-up and clean inside. We were told that the electrical wiring would need replacement. In 2013 the cistern was cleaned for the first time since it was built (1977?), pictured below. -JTH
